My guess about Stin...I went to Gettysburg College. My guess about Stine Lake is that it was "lake" because of being flooded and "Stine" because Stine Hall (a dorm) is right there. BTW, that site is supposedly filled with the remains from amputated limbs from the battle. Makes sense - it is a huge open area in the middle of campus, with several field hospitals right there.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
